The newest CD-ROM from After Hours Press includes 600+ of images shot specifically to meet the needs of professional and aspiring comic book artists. These multimedia CD-ROMs (PC and Mac compatible) retail for only $10. “ The ongoing response from artists and retailers has been overwhelmingly positive,” explains creator/photographer Buddy Scalera. “People who have been using the first two disks told me what they wanted to see on Vol. 3, so I tried hard to create the best possible package.” Vol. 3 includes new models, including two male bodybuilders. “They look like superheroes,” says Scalera. “Artists will really appreciate how powerful these guys look at certain angles.” As in previous releases, Vol. 3 includes hundreds of useful location shots of New York City. A helicopter ride gives an incredible view of the new skyline of lower Manhattan. That’s not all. The multimedia CD-ROM also includes a large collection of all-new pictures from the zoo, the Jersey shore, a boat marina, an Irish pub, and more rubble. The disk is also a useful for writers. Scalera would know, he also writes comic books for Marvel Comics and other comic publishers. “A writer can spend a lot of time describing a scene or pose,” Scalera explains. “Now the writer can send a picture to an artist and say, ‘this is what I want.’” ABOUT AFTER
