AHP THANKS RETAILERS FOR ORDERING CELESTIAL ALLIANCE

NEW JERSEY - 6/13/02 -- After Hours Press offers a big THANK YOU to the retailers that ordered Celestial Alliance #1 through Diamond last month.

“All I can say is THANK YOU,” said a very happy Darren Sanchez, publisher of After Hours and writer of Celestial Alliance. “Our first-issue orders were the kick we needed to get our little company off the ground.”
Celestial Alliance #1 was solicited with a Sean Chen cover with Bob Layton inks. Interior pencils are by newcomer Dan Leister. The entire 48-page comic retails for only $2.95

“To us, this means that retailers are willing to give new projects a try, if the package looks professional and the price is right,” said Buddy Scalera, president of After Hours and writer of Parts: The SitComic.

Scalera’s (Deadpool, Weapon X, Necrotic, Decoy) solicitation for Parts: The SitComic appears in the current Diamond catalogue (P. 212). He has made several stops at NY/NJ comic book stores to promote the new humor title to retailers.
Celestial Alliance #1 tells the story of a US Army helicopter pilot who stumbles

upon space aliens living in the ocean off Hawaii. It’s a dramatic story about honor and love.

“We’re very excited that retailers have ordered this book strong,” said Sanchez. “We’re sure that retailers will be very happy with the final product because After Hours Press is here to stay.”
